Estimates
Estimates are provided free of charge and are not binding on either party until a written agreement is signed by both. Pricing is based on the conditions observed at the time of inspection. Conditions that cannot reasonably be observed beforehand, such as rotted decking or sheathing concealed beneath existing materials, may change the final price. Any such change will be presented to you in writing for approval before that work proceeds.
Scheduling and Weather
Roofing and exterior work depends on weather. We may reschedule when conditions make the work unsafe, or when opening a structure would risk water getting inside. We will tell you as early as we can when that happens.
Warranty
Workmanship warranty terms are specified for each project in the written agreement and range from 2 to 12 years depending on the scope of work. Materials carry the manufacturer's warranty, which is separate from our workmanship warranty and subject to the manufacturer's own terms. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage from storms, impact, alterations made by others, or a lack of reasonable maintenance.
Insurance Claims
Where a project involves an insurance claim we provide documentation and may attend an adjuster inspection at your request. We do not make coverage determinations and cannot guarantee any claim outcome, which is decided solely by your insurer. We do not waive, absorb, rebate or discount insurance deductibles, and we will not inflate an estimate to create room for one.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your written agreement. Work is scheduled once the agreement is signed.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
